Cheshire-based Bell Developments has submitted a planning application for its £100m Chester Student Village scheme.
The project, designed by Manchester’s AEW Architects, comprises 2,500 student bedrooms as well as a “hub” building, including dining and leisure space, and abn energy and recycling centre. It will be built in the Blacon suburb of the city.
Mike Bell, director of Bell Developments, said: “This is a £100m investment in the future prosperity of Chester. We fully support the University and recognise that it is one of the key economic drivers for the future of Chester.”
