Simon Lloyd, Chesterton’s head of Industrial and Warehouse Agency, is leaving London to run DTZ Debenham Thorpe’s industrial agency team in Birmingham.
Lloyd will replace Barry Allen, DTZ’s head of industrial agency in the city, who recently left to head-up FPD Savills new Birmingham office.
Rod Gough, a director at DTZ Debenham Thorpe, will continue to head up the professional division of its industrial and warehousing team and Lloyd will become director in charge of industrial agency.
Geoff Thomas, chairman of DTZ Debenham Thorpe in the Midlands, was unavailable for comment but a spokeswoman for Chesterton has confirmed Lloyd’s move.
This is the latest chapter in a series of high-profile agency moves in Birmingham.
Last week, it was announced that Tim Suffield of James Lister Lea is joining Fuller Peiser as head of its industrial agency team in the Midlands. In turn, Suffield is replacing Richard Meering who left to start-up Holley Blake’s new office in the city.
