Andrew Hyde, a former residential land valuations and development specialist at Chesterton’s Manchester office, has joined local firm Stevens Scanlan as an associate.
Hyde will take a similar role at Stevens Scanlan’s Mosley Street offices in central Manchester.
Alan Murdoch, senior managing partner of Stevens Scanlan, said: “We are experiencing a considerable rise in the amount of residential development work, in particular from builders and developers looking at the outskirts of the city centre.
“Andrew brings with him a wealth of experience and unrivalled contacts within the ranks of developers, bankers and housing associations.”
Before joining Chesterton, Hyde spent nine years as head of Lee Baron Commercial’s Manchester office.
Chesterton’s Manchester office was closed last month with the loss of 34 jobs as the company went into receivership.
