Chez Gerard, the restaurant chain that also owns Livebait, warned yesterday that profits would be down on city expectations by £700,000 to £2m in the year to June 2001.
Shares fell to an all-time low of 83.5p after it said a 20% fall in tourist numbers and disappointing results from restaurants opened outside of London had hit profits.
