US fast-food brand Chick-fil-A has selected the first five restaurant locations for its debut in the UK.
The chain will open two restaurants in Belfast and single sites in Leeds, Liverpool and London. All its restaurants will be locally owned and operated.
Chick-fil-A plans to invest more than £80m in the UK over the next decade.
The company’s initial expansion in the UK is expected to generate around 400 jobs across licensed and franchised restaurants and Chick-fil-A is now searching for operators for the franchise.
