China’s official manufacturing purchasing managers’ index came in at 50.1 in April, remaining above the key level of 50 that separates expansion from contraction, data from the statistics bureau and the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing showed.
The non-manufacturing PMI slipped to 53.4 from 53.7.
