Choice Hotels Europe has kick-started plans to build 75 hotels throughout the UK and Europe over the next five years with the opening of a budget hotel called Sleep Inn Cambridge. The 82-room hotel will be situated on the A14 just outside Cambridge.
The company has announced plans for more Sleep Inns in Peterborough, Stevenage and Manchester, and expects to have at least 10 more under development by the end of the year.
Peter Cashman, chief operating officer for Choice Hotels Europe, said: “Taking our lead from the service-orientated culture of the US, we are providing Sleep customers with a guarantee that should they encounter a problem in their room during their stay, we will fix it or give them their money back.”
