Church Commissioners has secured planning for a 1,087-home mixed-use community in Lincoln.
The 109-acre Bracebridge Heath scheme, three miles to the south of the city, will include 20% affordable housing, a purpose-built residential care home, an employment area, green transport links and public spaces including sports facilities and playgrounds.
Matthew Naylor, strategic land principal manager at the Church Commissioners for England said: “Retirement housing will provide much-needed places for seniors to live, while a new mobility hub will give residents sustainable transport options that encourage connectivity both within Bracebridge Heath and across Lincoln.”
Church Commissioners recently submitted planning applications for two large-scale, mixed-use planning applications at Barnham (1,250 homes) and West Bersted(2,200 homes), both in West Sussex.
