CIMA swaps West End for City

Helicon-EC2The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants has signed for 23,456 sq ft of office space at the Helicon, South Place, EC2.

CIMA has signed a 10-year lease for the third floor of the Helicon, which is owned by RREEF Investment.

LSH acted for CIMA; JLL and Allsop advised RREEF.

LSH head of central london office agency Sean Brew said: “CIMA is relocating from the West End to the City after a comprehensive search of available options within central London.

“It is looking to adopt more agile working practices and to switch from a self-contained building to a single floor in order to improve communication and workplace efficiencies.

“The move to the Helicon will fulfil these goals, whilst giving CIMA a prime position in the City. CIMA is one of a number of occupiers relocating from the West to the City; we estimate that around 15% of leasing transactions in the City submarkets originated from the West End.”
