Cineworld is set to deliver three new cinemas, two in the UK and one in Hungary, before the end of 2019, according to a trading update from the company.
Cineworld has posted a 12.8% drop in group box office revenue over the past 11 months, from 1 January to 1 December.
Given the weaker box office revenue, trading for the full year is expected to be slightly below management’s expectations.
