Cinven, the private equity firm, moved closer to acquiring Gondola Holdings, the restaurant company that owns Pizza Express and Zizzi, after a key shareholder agreed to sell.
Boussard & Gavaudan, a hedge fund set up by former Goldman Sachs bankers Emmanuel Boussard and Emmanuel Gavaudan, agreed to sell a 22.23% stake in the restaurant group, ending a stand-off between the two parties.
