Circle Property posts profit

36-Great-Chalres-Street,-Birmingham-THUMBCircle Property has posted a £1.1m profit before tax in its Q1 2016 results, the firm’s first set of numbers since it was incorporated in December 2015.

The company listed on AIM in February at a share price of £1.49.

For the four months to 31 March, Circle Property posted a investment property portfolio value of £77.7m over 16 assets.

The company continues to refurbish 36 Great Charles Street in Birmingham (pictured) and prelets have been secured at Somerset House in Temple Street, Birmingham.

John Arnold, chief executive of Circle Property, said: “Since listing on AIM earlier this year, we have made solid progress and remain optimistic that the economy has the strength to withstand the short-term stresses imposed by the prospect of leaving the EU, and that demand will continue for good-quality offices at economic rents in the right locations.”
