City Hall approves Meyer Bergman resi

Deputy mayor for planning Jules Pipe has approved Meyer Bergman’s plans for the redevelopment of 100 West Cromwell Road, W14.

It will see 462 homes, with 40% affordable home provision by habitable room.

City Hall called in the plans in July last year, after Kensington & Chelsea council refused consent, citing lack of affordable housing, poor access and integration with the surroundings.

Plans were subsequently amended, rising from 22 storeys to 29 storeys, allowing for an additional 35 homes and boosting the number of affordable homes.
