Residential developer City Lofts has won planning permission for a second scheme around Princes Dock in Liverpool.
Work will begin later this year on a nine-storey development of 121 flats at Princes Half Tide Dock, neighbouring the developer’s first scheme in Liverpool at Princes Dock.
Tony Brooks, group development director of City Lofts, said: “The transformation of brownfield sites alongside Liverpool’s waterfront will benefit the whole city.
“We are proud to play our part in the transformation of this prime location into a desirable residential address.”
City Lofts has acquired a long leasehold interest in the site from the Mersey Docks & Harbour Company, the ports specialist now owned by Salford-based Peel Holdings.
Architect and interior designer Conran & Partners has been retained for the new scheme.
