In Altrincham, it has permission for the 47,500 sq ft
In Hale Barns, Citybranch will build retail development The Square, which will include a 28,000 sq ft foodstore, 14 shops and 51 flats.
The developer is in talks with Waitrose but no deal has yet been signed.
The Square has been reduced in size following local objections.
Citybranch said it would start on site once prelets had been secured.
