Clarion Housing Group has bought a 10-acre site near Mildenhall, in Suffolk, on which it will deliver 115 affordable homes.
Together with developer Lovell, Clarion will build 81 homes for shared ownership and 34 homes for affordable rent on the land at Aspal Lane in Beck Row, which has planning permission.
The scheme has a gross development value of around £24m.
Philip Browne, new business and partnerships director for Clarion, said: “We are pleased to be working with Lovell to deliver much-needed new housing for Suffolk.
“At Clarion we aim to deliver 50,000 new homes nationwide over 10 years, two-thirds of which will be affordable. Thanks to our financial strength, we have been able to acquire this site and ensure that all the homes being delivered at this scheme are affordable.”
