Clarkslegal takes floor at Reading’s Thames Tower

Landid and Brockton Capital have leased a further floor in their Thames Tower office development in Reading, Berkshire.

Clarkslegal has become the sixth occupier to sign at the 15-storey tower, which sits opposite Reading station, and will move from its existing Forbury Square office.

It joins five other occupiers to have already signed up to the 195,000 sq ft building. Earlier this month, computer software provider Objective Corporation agreed to move from its current headquarters in Maidenhead, after signing up for 7,000 sq ft on the 10th floor.

Other occupiers include HSBC, which signed up for 9,500 sq ft earlier this year, and professional services firm BDO, taking the whole of the 12th floor.

Monica Atwal, managing partner of Clarkslegal, said: “The move is an investment in our own future and marks our confidence also in the future economic success of Reading as our historic base.”

The Landid and Brockton joint venture was represented by Parkinson Holt and JLL.

Clarkslegal was represented by Hicks Baker.
