Clean energy firm signs for British Land’s Paper Yard

Clean energy technology company Prosemino has signed a lease for laboratory and office space at British Land’s Paper Yard building in Canada Water, SE16. The deal comprises 1,800 sq ft of wet and dry lab space and a 700 sq ft office. Asking prices in the building range from £67.50-£85 per sq ft. The rent at which Prosemino signed for the space is in upper £60s. Paper Yard is a 33,000 sq ft modular lab scheme designed by Hawkins\Brown that is capable of accommodating a range of scientific requirements, including research, work and education. The scheme sits alongside Tedi-London, a 76,000 sq ft innovation campus. Mike Wiseman, head of workspace leasing for innovation & life sciences at British Land, said: “[Paper Yard] continues to attract a diverse and dynamic community of users within the building by virtue of its highly flexible modular design that can be quickly and easily adapted either in advance of, or during, occupation.” JLL advised British Land on the transaction;  Metric Real Estate advised Prosemino.
