Clearbell Capital and LaSalle Global Partner Solutions have joined forces to launch a £125m fund.
The fund, Clearbell UK Strategic Trust, will invest in value-add industrial, office and mixed-use assets across the UK priced between £5m and £20m. There will be scope to bring new investors on board over time, the partnership said.
Clearbell and LaSalle have also acquired two laboratory and office buildings in Oxford Science Park, currently occupied by DNA sequencing company Oxford Nanopore and Regus.
Joe Bridger, CST fund manager and investment director at Clearbell Capital, said: “With Covid-19 highlighting the importance of the life sciences sector, demand for high-quality, specialised office and laboratory space is only expected to increase.”
