Clearbell signs Select Car Leasing for Pacific House

Clearbell Capital has signed Select Car Leasing for 19,600 sq ft at Pacific House in Reading, Berkshire.

The car leasing specialist has agreed a 10-year lease at an annual rent of £450,800, equating to £23 per sq ft. It joins six other tenants.

Pacific House is a 57,000 sq ft multilet office near Junction 11 of the M4, opposite the new retail and leisure Reading Gateway site.

It was acquired by Clearbell as part of the Chalk portfolio in 2015 and has subsequently undergone an extensive refurbishment programme.

Duncan Jarvis, director of asset management at Clearbell, said: “The introduction of the atrium café for all tenants to enjoy, plus free Wi-Fi, showers, cycle storage and the concierge service at reception, have greatly improved the amenity offering at Pacific House.”

Clearbell was advised by Parkinson Holt and Montagu Evans on the leasing.
