Clearbrook Capital Partners is one of the several parties interested in Spirit Group.
Clearbrook is the private equity firm Robin Saunders, former WestLB investment banker, has set up.
No formal bid has yet been make. Diary, in The Daily Telegraph’s business section, says where she will get the £3bn she needs is anyone’s guess. Spirit is also considering a floatation.
