Liberal Democrat leader Nick Clegg has confirmed a “mansion tax” on homes worth at least £2m will be included in the party’s manifesto.
The party ran into controversy last year when it proposed the tax on homes worth at least £1m.
Clegg admitted the party could have done “a bit more homework” on the issue although he said the party’s instincts were right.
