CLSB asks DTZ to review its portfolio

The Cardiff Local Service Board has instructed DTZ to assess and consolidate its property portfolio.

The board, which includes Cardiff city council, South Wales police and the University of Glamorgan, was established in response to the Welsh government’s 2007 efficiency and innovation programme.

DTZ has been asked to identify surplus assets, examine options for shared accommodation, and seek development opportunities.

Laura Stamboulieh, project director at DTZ’s public sector team, said: “We will be working very closely with the partner organisations which make up the board to review the asset base and provide recommendations on how to optimise value and utilisation.”
