Club Peloton’s Lee Valley pursuit

Almost 300 property cyclists and veterans of the annual Cycle To MIPIM event gathered at the Olympic velodrome in the Lee Valley Park in east London last week to race, network and celebrate a decade of one of the industry’s biggest charity events.

As alumni of Club Peloton gossiped and quaffed champagne, property’s finest athletes took to the boards to take part in the Italian pursuit. A team from Hawkins Brown were crowned victors on the night. Racing commentary was provided by Tour de France presenter Ned Boulting, who later treated diners at the gala dinner to a candid interview with former pro racer David Miller and his sister, Team Sky business manager Fran Miller. Founder of Cycle to Cannes, Peter Murray  was awarded for his services to cycling by his son, William, and received a standing ovation from the crowd.

The event, which included an auction of a bespoke Cycle To MIPIM single-speed bike, raised more than £10,000 for children’s charity Coram, among others.
