Cluttons head of commercial agency Freddie Pritchard-Smith has left the firm to launch new property app Savvy.
Pritchard-Smith who joined Cluttons last year from Colliers International is set to launch the app, an online platform connecting people, spaces and services, by engaging commercial landlords, employers, employees and local merchants, in the third quarter of 2018.
Pritchard-Smith said: “My personal interest in technology and understanding of real estate, made co-founding the app both an exciting and timely opportunity.
“The commercial property market is in transition, with landlords proactively seeking unique ways to provide space as a service and evolve as a result of the co-working phenomenon. Savvy is technology created for property people, by property people, permitting landlords to adapt and improve the workplaces they provide, through the engagement of their customers.”
The app is being supported by commercial market design leaders The ThirdWay Group and app developers Jigsaw XYZ.
