Cluttons to advise on Bin Laden Group’s Mecca scheme

Construction and property conglomerate the Bin Laden Group has appointed Cluttons’ Bahrain office to  market a 10.5m sq ft (975,450 sq m) scheme which it is building in central Mecca, Saudi Arabia.

The scheme, known as the King Abdulaziz Endowment Project, overlooks Al-Haram mosque, Islam’s holiest shrine.

Four of the complex’s five towers will comprise flats while the fifth will be a five-star hotel.

Other elements of the scheme include a transport hub, a bus station, a five-storey shopping mall, prayer halls and offices.
