Cluttons wins Brighton job

Brighton and Hove city council has appointed Cluttons as its property advisor until at least 2017.

The council has awarded existing property partner Cluttons a new five-year contract to provide lease advice, asset valuations and real estate management.

Cluttons will manage 600 non-operational properties in the council’s portfolio, valued at £200m. The contract could also be extended for two more years.

Bill Shipley, partner in Cluttons’ commercial division, said that there was tough competition for the contract.
