A group of property professionals have raised £2,000 for charity by cycling across Yorkshire and Lancashire. Simon Prest, senior land manager for Redrow Homes (Yorkshire), in Wakefield; Neil Robinson, legal director at housebuilder Redrow’s HQ near Chester; Mike Atkinson of Atkinson Associates in Leeds; Neil Clark of Bracken Developments, also in Leeds; and Mark Taylforth of Pendle Property Developments, in Kelbrook, Lancashire, cycled 130 miles over two days with property consultant Peter Lynas acting as support crew.
The team were raising money for Martin House Children’s Hospice in Wetherby and the Being Bel Trust in Ilkley. Donations can be made via www.justgiving.com/2011coast2coast.
