Colico Living appoints VervLife to manage Paradise View

Colico Living has appointed property manager VervLife to operate Paradise View, the office-to-residential conversion it is developing in partnership with Topland Group.

The scheme will see the former Beneficial Building in Birmingham converted into 159 one, two and three-bed flats, including 4,000 sq ft of amenity space, a 4,000 sq ft retail unit and a 4,500 sq ft gym, which has been pre-let to Anytime Fitness.

VervLife will manage the building on a day-to-day basis.

Katherine Rose, managing director at VervLife, said: “VervLife has been involved in this scheme from the earliest stages of design, so I’m particularly excited that we’re on the cusp of launching this building to the buoyant Birmingham market.

“This project is a great example of where our operational, lettings, design and brand specialists have collaborated to deliver our client’s vision. We have worked closely with the client and stakeholders to unlock what is going to be a first-class boutique BTR community in one of the city’s most up-and-coming locations.”

Lisa Timberlake, director at Colico, said: “At Colico, we are known for transforming unloved sites. After getting the scheme consented in 2021, we’ve been hard at work alongside our partner, Topland Group, to make our plans a reality.

“VervLife has played a leading role, supporting us to revitalise this derelict building into what will be one of Birmingham’s most sought-after places to rent a high-quality apartment.”
