Collaboration not conflict: Making green leases work

WATCH When it comes to the environment, the desire to do better is evident across the entire property world.

Businesses want to deliver for their people and provide them with office spaces that are environmentally sound and healthy to work in; investors and developers want to build, retrofit and lease those buildings; and consultants want to do what they can to broker those conversations.

So why is it that green leases have failed to really take off and why is it that a green lease can often be the cause of conflict rather than collaboration?

In this EG webinar we take a look at what is slowing down the adoption of green lease agreements and start to build out a plan for a contract that enables the property owner, the occupier and the planet to benefit.

Speakers

  • Melanie Williams, partner, DWF
  • Kaela Fenn-Smith, managing director, ESG consultancy, CBRE
