Colliers has hired Elliot Cassels as a director in its capital markets team in Scotland.
Cassels joins Colliers from Montagu Evans, where he was a partner in the investment team. He will be based in Edinburgh in his new role.
Cassels has more than 20 years’ experience in the Scottish investment sector. He has advised on various forward funding projects for both developers and investors.
He has also provided development consultancy and onward investment agency advice on high-profile commercial projects.

Douglas McPhail, head of Colliers International in Scotland, said: “This appointment comes in response to increasing demand for investment advice from clients, as the market continues to gather momentum.
“Elliot’s appointment adds another high-profile new director to our business.”
Colliers boosted its Scottish capital markets business in recent months with the hiring of Patrick Ford from Knight Frank in June. Cassels will work closely with Ford, who is based in Glasgow.
