Lazard has hired Colliers International to explore options for a new 80,000 sq ft West End headquarters, ahead of a lease expiry at its Stratton Street HQ in 2022.
The financial advisory and asset management firm, based at 50 Stratton Street, W1, is understood to have contacted landlords including Great Portland Estates, Grosvenor and The Crown Estate about a potential move of 70,000-80,000 sq ft.
Among the options being explored is a renewal of its current 71,000 sq ft headquarters, which is owned by the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority and where it pays £75/sq ft.
