Colliers International has appointed former Farebrother & Union Street Partners agent Tim Cooney to its City offices team.
Cooney has been at Farebrother & Union Street Partners for the past three years, providing strategic property advice to niche and corporate occupier clients, specialising in office acquisitions; lease re-gears; renewals; disposals and assisting in the project management of office fit-outs in central London.
Originally from Melbourne, Australia, Cooney began his career in property at Hodges Real Estate, working in a number of disciplines whilst studying for a Bachelor of Business, Management & Marketing at Monash University. He later moved to Axis Property in 2012, as a sales and leasing consultant, before moving to the UK in 2015.
“From the moment we launched in October last year, Colliers’ City offices team has been going from strength-to-strength as the market responds positively to our fresh approach to doing business,” said Stuart Commins, director, City occupier acquisitions & advisory at Colliers International.
“Tim’s appointment not only boosts our bench strength at an incredibly busy time, but his energy and hunger to succeed, paired with his reputation for providing top quality advice, helps to reinforce our team identity as we increase our presence in the City.”
