Colliers International has recruited two directors to its operational markets team.
Mike Gorman has moved from CBRE. He was previously senior director for residential capital markets at CBRE for more than two years, and worked as head of residential investment at Knight Frank prior to that. At Colliers, he will focus on residential investment and development, based in the Leeds office.
Richard Harris joins the London office as head of healthcare capital markets. Harris was previously head of alternatives at BNP Paribas Real Estate from 2017, with previous senior roles at Strutt & Parker and specialist healthcare investment advisory Vector Property Consultants. He was recruited early last year.
Paddy Allen, head of operational capital markets at Colliers, said: “At Colliers, [Richard] will help bolster our presence and expertise in the healthcare markets across the UK.
“Mike’s hire reflects our strength and depth across the residential sector from land transactions to funding solutions.”
The appointments follow Colliers’ recruitment of industry veteran Andrew Stanford last year, joining as head of BTR. Stanford spent five years at LaSalle Investment Management as head of residential asset management, and previously led the government’s private rented sector taskforce.
