Colliers International has appointed Laurence Hatchwell OBE as a director within its London-based rating team.
Hatchwell joins from the Valuation Office Agency, where he spent 38 years.
He has previously worked as an adviser to Commissioner of Rating and Valuation in Hong Kong on the China Light & Power and Hong Kong Electric Cases.
John Webber, head of rating at Colliers International, said: “Laurence is a significant appointment for our team nationally, bringing substantial experience to Colliers International as a widely regarded expert in telecoms, utilities and public sector property specialisms.
“With his international experience, his appointment strengthens our global expertise in the valuation of utilities, healthcare and education assets generally.
“We expect Laurence’s appointment to help us expand the existing specialist capability within the UK rating team and provide additional support for our recent EMEA corporate solutions mandates, such as BT Global.”
