Colliers has chosen the 19th floor of Birmingham’s tallest office building as its new base in the city.
The firm has taken a 10-year lease on 9,200 sq ft of workspace.
The 223,631 sq ft office tower, located at 103 Colmore Row, is being developed by EPISO 4, a fund managed by Tristan Capital Partners and Sterling Property Ventures. It has both BREEAM ‘Excellent’ and EPC A certifications.
The 26-storey office tower is already a home to Arcadis, RSM, Browne Jacobson, Gallagher, Grant Thornton, Knight Frank, Shoosmiths, Tilney Smith & Williamson, and x+why.
James Howarth, managing director of Sterling Property Ventures, said: “We answered Birmingham’s call for a landmark building in the central business core and have been bowled over with the market’s response. Colliers is the tenth office occupier to sign up at 103 Colmore Row and we have keen interest in the remaining floors.”
James Cubitt, head of Colliers Birmingham, said: “Our office agency team is joint agent for 103 Colmore Row, so we are familiar with the building and knew that we had to act quickly if we wanted to secure our own spot. As well as panoramic views of the city and beyond, the move means we have easier access to our clients and connectivity to London and Manchester.”
