Columbia Threadneedle offloads retail assets

Evolve Estates has bought two retail assets from Columbia Threadneedle Investments.

The deals cover a 10,198 sq ft retail parade at 59-67 Broad Street in Teddington and a 6,020 sq ft single-let building at 6-7 Castle Street, Farnham.

The retail parade at Teddington is fully let to Boots, Boots Opticians, Costa, Holland & Barrett and Carpetright, the latter being one of the stores acquired by Tapi.

The two-unit building at Farnham is fully let to Bill’s Restaurant on a full repairing and insuring lease until 2041.

Danny O’Keefe, co-founder at Evolve Estates, said: “These acquisitions represent excellent opportunities to enhance value and create long-term returns for our investors.

“The strong tenant mix and strategic locations of these retail properties make them ideal additions to our ever-expanding portfolio.”

Jackson Criss acted for Columbia Threadneedle and Cited Property for Evolve Estates.
