Comer loads Winchester House plans

Winchester House, Bracknell 570p

Comer Homes has submitted plans for the £75m redevelopment of Winchester House in Bracknell, Berkshire.

The 387,000 sq ft scheme includes 311 flats and 17,000 sq ft of shops and restaurants on the ground floor. Work is expected to begin immediately after receipt of planning permission from Bracknell Forest borough council.

The 14-storey 1970s former home of technology manufacturer 3M, which has been vacant since 2003, will be demolished and replaced. Building work is expected to take around three years, with a completion date in 2015.

Daniel Watney is advising Comer Homes.
