Comet will be putting 57 shops and a distribution centre up for sale when it completes the purchase of Norweb’s electricity showrooms.
The electrical retailer is making the move after its parent Kingfisher paid £29m for the showrooms which includes a £22m payment by United Utilities towards the restructuring costs.
