Comfy Quilts has bought a 110,000 sq ft warehouse at Stakehill Industrial Park in Manchester from Bibby Distribution for £5m in an off-market deal.
The bedding manufacturer, advised by Aherne Property Consultants, was already an occupier on the park.
Former LSH head of industrial, Andrew Aherne, who founded the niche advisory firm Aherne Property Consultants last year, said: “Comfy Quilts needed a new premises to accommodate its growing business but was keen to stay on Stakehill Industrial Park, where it has been since 2011.
“We were pleased to have managed to find it a suitable building so quickly in a market with diminishing stock that will enable it to facilitate increased production output with minimum disruption.”
