Computacenter has paid around £9m to Arlington Securities for 8.95ha ( 22 acres) at Hatfield Business Park in Hertfordshire for 16,257m2 (175,000 sq ft) of warehousing and 9,290m2 (100,000 sq ft) of offices.
The software manufacturer has also negotiated a three-year option on an additional 3.25ha (8 acres).
Last July it shortlisted a total of four sites, including Slough Estates’ Centennial Park, Gazeley Properties and BP’s Punchbowl Park near Hemel Hempstead, and Hertsmere Industrial Park in Borehamwood.
