Conder flies with Dove consent

Conder Developments has won detailed planning consent for a 300,000 sq ft distribution unit at Dove Valley Park, in south Derbyshire.

Conder, part of the CWC Group, is looking for a prelet on what is known as plot 3000. It is offering a fast-track build of 32 weeks from signing up an occupier.

Paul Shanley, managing director at Conder, said: “Deals are still hard to conclude but there is always demand for a good-quality building in the right location.”

The CWC Group is on site at Castle Donington in Leicestershire, building a 1m sq ft distribution unit for Marks & Spencer. It has also signed up the Co-op for a 350,000 sq ft distribution unit at its Castlewood site at junction 28 of the M1.

Existing occupiers on Dove Valley Park include JCB, Kuehne + Nagel, Truma, Dairy Crest and Futaba.

BNP Paribas Real Estate and Salloway & Co are joint letting agents for Dove Valley Park.
