Conran Holdings is looking to open more hotels.
It has more than 40 bars and restaurants in almost 20 locations across Britain, venues in Paris, New York and Stockholm and a joint venture hotel, the Great Eastern, in the City of London.
Sir Terence Conran, chairman, wants to design housing. Des Guenwardena, chief executive, says in an interview with the Financial Times that the group hopes to “do something interesting with it [house design] eventually”.
