Construction firm the Buckingham Group has filed for administration.
The firm, which was leading the £80m development of Liverpool FC’s new Anfield Road stand, has filed for a notice of intention to appoint administrators.
Buckingham was also contracted to work on Fulham’s stadium redevelopment, with reports suggesting the financial commitment to that project is partially responsible for the company’s economic problems.
