Public consultation has begun on a new office scheme at 1 Chapel Place, located just off Oxford Street, W1.
Plans for the site, which is owned by an overseas investor represented by CC Land, include the redevelopment of the existing 35,000 sq ft, five-storey office block to provide a 73,000 sq ft, 11-storey sustainable building.
It would include a contemporary workspace, commercial space, public realm and a public rooftop terrace.
The site, next to the Grade I listed St Peter’s Church, is due to be revamped when the current tenants vacate the building in 2028.
It is targeting BREEAM Outstanding and is looking to achieve best practice performance under the WELL and NABERS standards.
