Contech company snaps up $16m

Contech firm Buildots has raised $16m in its latest fundraise to expand the business.

The company, which mounts 360-degree cameras onto hard hats to track ongoing work on construction projects, secured the funding from eight investors.

TLV Partners led the funding round and investors included Innogy Ventures, Tidhar Construction Group, Ziv Aviram (co-founder of Mobileye & OrCam), Magma Ventures head Zvika Limon, entrepreneurs Benny Schnaider and Avigdor Willenz, and Gil Geva, chairman of Tidhar.

Chief executive of Buildots Roy Danon said: “This new funding round is a great sign of confidence by existing and new investors, and will be used to scale and improve our product, and expand to new regions.”
