Contemporary Surrey home among more than 150 lots in Savills’ April sale

A newly constructed contemporary four-bedroom house of approximately 1,930 sq ft in New Malden, Surrey (lot 87, pictured) is being offered with a guide price of £765,000 in Savills’ April auction.

The 18 April sale is set to feature more than 150 lots across the UK, with a mix of residential, commercial and development opportunities.

Robin Howeson, head of auctions at Savills, said: “Our April auction follows our first three sales of the year which have so far raised more than £130m, a 56% increase on the same period in 2022.

“Our April catalogue offers a variety of lots of interest to owner-occupiers as well as investors and developers. Whether looking for a cottage to call your own in Cornwall or an investment let with asset management potential, there is a strong line-up to choose from.”

Other highlights of the sale include:

  • Lot 25: Barnsbury Grove, Islington, London – a three-bedroom mid-terrace house in need of refurbishment in the Barnsbury conservation area, guide price £900,000
  • Lot 105: Shores Cottage, near St Minver, Cornwall – a detached, vacant three-bedroom property well located for the amenities of Rock village and beaches, guide price £400,000
  • Lot 10: 16-30 High Street, 1-11 Rectory Road and 1-4 The Mews, Beckenham – a prominent unbroken corner parade consisting of 10 retail units, 16 flats, residential rooms/serviced accommodation, offices, a parade of mews buildings, office space, workshops and garages, guide price £4.5m
  • Lot 81: 40 Station Approach, Ruislip – a site close to South Ruislip station with planning permission for six flats and an existing commercial unit, guide price £1.45m
  • Lot 55: 18 Ballards Lane, Finchley, N3 – freehold mixed-use restaurant and residential investment with development potential, guide price £1m
