Conviviality Retail, the owner of Bargain Booze, has paid a total of £7.6m to acquire GTN, recouping £1.6m of the amount by selling various property back to its previous owners.
Conviviality plans to rebrand most of GTN’s stores as Bargain Booze or Bargain Booze Select Convenience outlets. It plans to add to profits by combining buying power, head office functions and marketing.
