Cooper sells mansion to Candy

Marcus Cooper has sold a Regent’s Park mega-mansion development site to Christian Candy.

The row of seven Grade I listed houses at 6-10 Cambridge Terrace and 1-2 Chester Gate, NW1, has permission for conversion into a 50,000 sq ft mansion which could have a GDV of close to £200m.

Candy has agreed to pay almost £100m for the 150-year residential lease on the properties.

The Crown Estate owns the freehold.

Knight Frank advised Marcus Cooper.
