Hecurl has been granted planning permission for a 150-unit PRS development in Corby by Corby Borough Council.
Located next to Corby train station, it will be the Northamptonshire town’s first PRS scheme.
It will include 60 one-bed flats and 90 two-bed flats. The site was purchased from Homes England.
Athar Rashid, managing director of Hector Newton, said: “This is Hecurl’s first PRS scheme and we plan to develop this model across similar UK towns.”
“The proposals will deliver a modern, flagship scheme for this gateway to Corby, providing new homes for local people.
“Our research tells us this scheme will be popular and provide extra choice in Corby.”
“The site is currently derelict and contributing nothing to the town.
“The new homes will give this important entrance to Corby a new lease of life and create a real sense of arrival on leaving the station.
“The new PRS homes will give residents in Corby the opportunity to rent a modern home, professionally managed and close to the town centre and local amenities.”
